We will make every effort to refill your ongoing prescriptions in a timely manner. The best way to obtain a refill is to contact your pharmacy. If necessary, they will contact us to obtain a new presecription or refill authorization.
It is helpful to have the medication bottle available anytime you call about a medicine. That will lessen the possibility of medication errors.
We encourage you to call for a refill before you are out of your medicine. If there are questions about your medicine we may need some time to contact you, and your personal physician may need to review your medication regimen before refilling a medicine.
In general, we do not refill narcotic prescriptions without re-evaluating the patient in the office. |
