Children are an integral part of our practice at Capital City Family Medicine. From toys in the waiting room, to the often imitated, never duplicated “Wall of Fame”, we like kids.
All of our providers, physicians and physician assistants alike, have interest and training in pediatrics.
Dr. Jonakin is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and serves as director of our program. Drs. Nasser and Cyprus have special training through the American Academy of Family Physicians to care for children. Mr. Hudson and Ms. Duffy also have specific pediatric training.
All the providers at CCFM believe in our philosophy that if your child is sick today, we will see your child today. Same day appointments are usually available, and if not, we are always open to walk-in care for acute illness.
We also provide routine checkups, sports and school physicals, immunizations, and care for the full spectrum of childhood acute and chronic disease.
Drs. Jonakin, Nasser, and Cyprus care for newborns at St. Lukes downtown.
