Capital City Family Medicine has the latest technology for the assessment of bone density. Women, especially after menopause, are often at risk for thinning and weakness of the bones called osteoporosis. The most common areas for associated fractures are the hip and spine, and we can assess these areas to determine your risk. All of our physicians have been trained in bone density scanning and will personally perform your scan. Immediately following the procedure, the physician will review the results with you so there is no delay in starting treatment.
