| Dr. Idalyn Cyprus |

Dr. Cyprus is board-certified in Family Medicine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University in Massachusetts with a B.S. in biology in 1985. She obtained her M.D. with honors from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1989. Dr. Cyprus completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1992. During her final year in residency, she served a chief resident for the Department of Family Medicine at Baylor.
Following residency, Dr. Cyprus practiced for one year in Houston. She then moved to Austin, Texas where she practiced for seven years. In 2000, she, her husband, Mark, and their 2 children moved to Boise, Idaho. Since that time she has been with Capital City Family Medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cyprus enjoys classical music. She plays the bassoon, violin and cello. She enjoys hiking, skiing, rafting, and camping. She also pursues creative writing, and in her spare time writes children's books. |
