Dr. Waj Nasser
Dr. Nasser obtained his undergraduate degree in physics from Middlebury College. He earned his M.D. with honors in medicine and surgery from the University of Louisville, and completed his residency training through the University of Washington’s Boise division of Family Medicine.

Dr. Nasser is on the medical staff of both St. Als and St. Lukes. He is the medical director of the locally founded Small Village Foundation, which does aid work in Africa. He lectures regularly, at the VA hospital as a part of their educational series for medical students and resident doctors, and at Boise High, BSU, and the State House, on healthcare issues. Dr. Nasser also holds a faculty appointment at the University of Utah as Adjunct Instructor in the department of Family and Preventive Medicine.

Dr. Nasser’s main extracurricular activities include kayaking, cycling, alpine-skiing, and hunting with his dog Huck. He is also a contributing writer to the Boise Weekly.
